October is Children's Vision Month!
The Saskatchewan Association of Optometrists is excited to announce Minister of Health, the Honourable Jeremy Cockrill, has declared October 2025 as Children’s Vision Month in the province of Saskatchewan. This is an opportunity to let parents and guardians know the importance of regular eye exams and children’s eye health.
The key message for this year’s campaign is “Book Your Kid’s Eye Exam”. Saskatchewan Health covers the costs of annual eye exams for all Saskatchewan residents under 18 – a valuable health care service provided for families by the government.
